Preliminary Positioning and Preparation
Location Confirmation: Ensure the indoor unit is at least 15 cm from the ceiling and 15 cm from side walls; select a well-ventilated location for the outdoor unit that avoids direct sunlight.
Tool Preparation: Have necessary tools ready in advance, such as an electric drill, spirit level, vacuum pump, wrenches, and expansion bolts.
Indoor Unit Installation
Mounting Plate: Level the mounting plate using a spirit level and secure it firmly to the wall with expansion bolts.
Wall Hole Drilling: Drill a hole through the wall with a 5–10° downward slope (higher inside, lower outside) to facilitate natural condensate drainage.
Connecting and Wrapping Lines: Connect the copper pipes, drainage hose, and signal cables; wrap them evenly with insulation tape, ensuring the lines do not twist or kink.
Mounting the Indoor Unit: Feed the wrapped lines through the wall hole, hook the indoor unit onto the mounting plate, and ensure the latches are fully engaged and secure.
Outdoor Unit Installation
Outdoor Unit Bracket: Install the bracket at the selected location; level it with a spirit level and tighten all expansion bolts.
Placing and Securing the Outdoor Unit: Place the outdoor unit steadily on the bracket, install vibration-dampening pads at the base, and bolt it securely in place.
Connecting Lines: Tighten the copper pipe connections between the indoor and outdoor units using two wrenches, and connect the corresponding power and control cables.
