Basic Daily Cleaning and Maintenance
Filter Cleaning: Clean the filter every 1–2 weeks during periods of frequent use in summer, and once a month during other seasons. Disconnect the power, remove the filter, and rinse it with running water; allow it to air-dry in a cool, shaded place before reinstalling. Do not expose it to direct sunlight or high-heat drying.
Casing and Air Outlet Cleaning: Wipe dust off the panel and air outlet with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a neutral detergent followed by a dry wipe to avoid corroding the casing.
Post-Shutdown Drying: Before turning off the unit each day, switch to "Fan Only" mode for 10 minutes to dry out accumulated internal moisture and prevent mold growth or odors.
Periodic Deep Maintenance
Evaporator and Condenser Cleaning: Before the change of seasons each year, spray the evaporator with a household air conditioner cleaner or use a soft-bristled brush to remove dust from the heat sink fins to maintain heat exchange efficiency.
Outdoor Unit Maintenance: Clean dust from the condenser surface every six months and promptly clear away any surrounding debris or obstructions to ensure proper heat dissipation. Wipe the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth, taking care to prevent water from entering the internal components.
Drainage System Clearing: Regularly clean debris from the condensate collection tray and clear the drainage pipe to prevent blockages, water overflow, and bacterial growth.
