Assessment Based on Appearance and Visual Inspection
Condition of piping and components: Inspect refrigeration piping for cracks, oil stains, or abnormal frost patterns at weld points and connections; signs of leakage indicate a need for maintenance to locate and repair the leak.
Dust accumulation and blockages: Check the thickness of dust on condenser and evaporator fins; visible dirt or clogging on air or water filters-which significantly reduces heat exchange efficiency-indicates a need for cleaning and maintenance.
Electrical system appearance: Check the condition of fuses, inspect wire insulation for damage, and ensure connectors are secure; any such hazards require prompt electrical system maintenance.

Assessment Based on Abnormal Operating Parameters
Pressure parameter deviations: If evaporation pressure exceeds the standard range of 380–450 kPa or condensing pressure exceeds 1300–1750 kPa-and operating condition fluctuations have been ruled out-the unit requires maintenance.
Abnormal increase in temperature differences: If the temperature difference between evaporation and chilled water outlet, or between condensation and cooling water outlet, significantly exceeds the normal range, it suggests scaling or clogging in heat exchange components, requiring cleaning and maintenance.
Abnormal oil temperature and pressure: If oil temperature is more than 5°C higher than historical levels under similar conditions, or if there is significant oil pressure fluctuation or the oil level is not centered in the sight glass, the oil system requires maintenance.
